Kids classes + Daily UW Article

Our new Kids Jiu-Jitsu Program will be starting this Thursday, July 5th, at 4:00pm! This will be a weekly class introducing kids to the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in a way that is safe, structured and engaging. The same techniques we teach our adults will be modified for safety and easy application and students are allowed to progress at their own pace. The main priority is that kids have fun and enjoy their training while learning valuable skills they’ll have for life. The following elements will be covered:

  1. Self Defense techniques that utilize leverage and control instead of striking.
  2. Bully Prevention strategies to diffuse violence before it starts.
  3. Movement Exercises to improve coordination, balance, and stamina.
  4. Basic Grappling which allows students to play and have fun while simultaneously improving their fitness, focus, problem solving skills, and self control.

Additional class times are coming soon – please subscribe to our blog for updates!
