Grand opening of Framework BJJ is tomorrow!! (Open event)

Tomorrow at 11:30am will be the first official class of Framework BJJ at its new location in Central District/First Hill area (525 21st Ave) and I’m super excited to begin teaching the art I love to the amazing community here in Seattle, WA.

This class will consist of both street and sport-applicable techniques taught in a safe, clean and cooperative environment. You won’t need to “prove” your abilities in my class or deal with a resisting partner as you are learning these moves for the first time. You will feel the effectiveness of the techniques while drilling them safely with a partner and the techniques and principles you learn will be yours’ for life.

Class will begin at 11:30 but if you can, please come a few minutes early to sign in and get set up. At 12:30pm we will have live sparring or “rolling” for the advanced students but beginners are more than welcome to stay and watch.

If this is your first time trying Gracie Jiu Jitsu (or martial arts in general) don’t be intimidated. Jiu Jitsu was designed so that anyone can do it regardless of age, athleticism or strength. I take personal pride in my ability to take brand new beginners and turn them into confident, capable and empowered individuals.

If you have any questions or concerns prior to coming to class please feel free to call or text me at 206-319-5289 or email me at and I’ll be happy to assist you.

Until then I hope to see everyone on the mat tomorrow and in the event you can’t make it, classes will be every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 11:30am so please stop in when you can!

I'm a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt who relocated to Seattle from Philadelphia. I've been training in martial arts actively for 20 years and in Jiu Jitsu since 2003. I'm a certified instructor under Rick and Phil Migliarese, owners of Balance Studios and 4th and 5th degree Black Belts under Grand Master Relson Gracie.

I currently train in Belligham at BBJJ with Dave Porter. I would like to train whenever I’m in the Seattle area, which is about 2-3 times a year. Would I just pay a drop in fee?
